Two Air Compressor Units

The County of Lexington and Lexington County Fire Services are seeking competitive bids for air compressor units. The required specifications include a Bauer Open Vertical Compressor/Purifier configured for 13.0 scfm, 6000 psig, 10 HP, 4-stage compressor, single phase motor and 67,000 cu ft capacity purifier. The compressor unit should have an integrated purification system that meets NFPA 1989 requirements for firefighting and CGA Grade E air for SCUBA. The scope of work includes the supply of two complete air compressor units. • The units should be configured with a BAUER PLC based controller and a NEMA 4 rated electrical enclosure with UL listed control panel. • The units should have all wiring harnesses incorporated within a corrugated loom with number coding for easy system diagnosis. • The units should have an emergency stop push button and an automatic condensate drain system. • The units should have a compressor on/off, final pressure, oil pressure, high temperature shutdown. The intention is to purchase two complete air compressor units, but quantities and orders are not guaranteed.
