High-efficiency Nitrogen Oxidation (HNO3)

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is soliciting innovative proposals in the foundational technologies to enable high-rate, energy efficient, decentralized nitric acid manufacturing to protect critical supply chains in the defense industrial base and redefine energetics manufacturing in contested logistics environments. Proposed research should investigate innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in science, devices, or systems. The scope of work includes the development of high-efficiency nitrogen oxidation technologies, and the delivery of technical data, reports, and other deliverables. • The contractor shall accomplish the tasks as depicted in the Statement of Work (SOW) and Additional Requirements. • The contractor shall deliver technical data, reports, and other deliverables in accordance with the SOW and Additional Requirements. • The contractor shall provide a Final Report documenting the totality of the contractor's efforts in accomplishing the work. • The contractor shall submit monthly R&D Status Reports and Financial Status Reports. • The contractor shall provide invention disclosures and reports to the Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO).
