NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - DXP Model 47 Fuel Filtration Unit

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a commercial Sole Source contract to DXP Enterprises, Inc. for the procurement of the DXP Model 47 Fuel Filtration Unit and associated support components. The contractor shall provide all equipment, supplies, tools, materials, and freight/shipping necessary to deliver the custom-engineered fuel filtration system as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW). The DXP Model 47 is custom-engineered to meet the specific restricted weight, footprint, and low-magnetic signature requirements of the LCS-2 variant platform main propulsion systems. • The contract is for a custom-engineered fuel filtration system. • The system must meet specific restricted weight, footprint, and low-magnetic signature requirements. • The contractor shall provide all equipment, supplies, tools, materials, and freight/shipping necessary. • The contract is a Sole Source Firm-Fixed-Price contract under FAR Part 12 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
