USCGC SYCAMORE CRANE SWING DRIVE ENCODER SERVICE

The United States Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to provide crane swing drive encoder service for the USCGC SYCAMORE. The contractor will be responsible for installing new parts, programming, and recalibrating the crane's swing drive encoder and associated systems. The project is expected to take 2 days to complete and will be performed between February 9, 2026, and April 30, 2026. The contractor will need to coordinate with the USCGC SYCAMORE's Engineer Officer to schedule on-site work. The key services required include: • Installation of government-furnished parts • Programming of the newly installed multi-turn ethernet encoder • Recalibration of the crane's swing drive encoder • Testing of the crane's swing drive to verify that all systems are functioning correctly • Coordination with the USCGC SYCAMORE's Engineer Officer to schedule on-site work
