Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking to renew its membership with the Space Data Association (SDA). The SDA provides Space Data Center Services, Deployment, Maintenance, and Licensing for data collection and predictions. The period of performance for this requirement is from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. The place of performance is the NOAA Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF) located in Suitland, MD.
• The SDA is currently the sole industry provider for these services.
• There are no SDA authorized resellers at this time.
• A sole source justification was prepared in accordance with RFO 13.101(b).
• The statutory authority permitting this sole source acquisition is 41 U.S.C. 1901.
