Description
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors for the purchase of heavy armor for the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office. The scope of work includes the purchase of Paraclete Origin system level II armor carriers or approved equivalents, with various accessories and configurations. The contract will be awarded to the vendor submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
• The purchase is for a one-time buy, not an annual contract.
• The vendor must provide warranty information for each item with their bid submittal.
• The vendor shall be responsible for measuring Gwinnett County employees for proper fit as required.
• The awarded vendor must coordinate scheduling fittings with the department representative.
• The delivery should be within 60-90 days after issuance of the purchase order.
