Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is seeking a contractor to provide snow removal and sanding services at the Hop Brook Lake Project Office, Hop Brook Lake Off-Season Parking Lot, Hop Brook Lake Main Entrance Road and Fee Booth Parking Lot, and the Naugatuck River Basin Office in Middlebury, CT. The contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment, materials, labor, and transportation necessary to perform snow removal and sanding activities. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with an option for an additional 8 months. The contractor will be required to submit a monthly invoice for services performed.
Some key tasks and requirements include:
* Providing snow plowing, shoveling, sanding, and salting services for various storm events
* Maintaining a safe job site and complying with all safety requirements
* Providing a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan and Activity Hazard Analysis
* Employing a minimum of one person to function as a Level 3 Site Safety and Health Officer
* Complying with all environmental regulations and requirements
* Restoring any damaged government facilities or private property
