Cleveland Metroparks Bid #6986/PID 119874 CUY- Old Highland Road Bridge Replacement, Euclid Creek Reservation

The Cleveland Metroparks is seeking bids for the replacement of the Old Highland Road Bridge at Euclid Creek Reservation. The project includes the replacement of a deteriorated bridge with a precast reinforced concrete arch structure on a drilled shaft foundation, maintaining the existing horizontal alignment and slightly raising the existing profile. The work also includes roadway approach work, an all-purpose trail, guardrail, and significant scour protection. • The project requires a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) goal of 8%. • The successful bidder must comply with federal prevailing wage rates and provide a Performance and Labor and Materialman Bond. • The contract shall be let in accordance with the Bid Documents, and the award will be made to the lowest and best bid, not necessarily the lowest bid. • The bidder must be an ODOT pre-qualified contractor, and the pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and throughout the life of the construction contract.
