Description
The Department of Defense, Department of the Air Force, is seeking a contractor to provide a cylinder assembly, A, with the part number 1650-01-642-2433LE. The assembly is described as a critical technology, and its export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act. The contractor will be required to comply with the provisions of DoD Directive 5230.25 and obtain approval or license from the Department of State for items controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) or the Department of Commerce for items controlled by the Export Administration Regulation (EAR). The key responsibilities of the contractor will include:
• Providing the cylinder assembly, A, in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the Department of Defense
• Complying with the provisions of DoD Directive 5230.25 and obtaining approval or license for the export of the assembly
• Ensuring that the assembly is manufactured and used in accordance with the technical data furnished by the Government
• Providing a copy of the notice with any partial or complete reproduction of the technical data that are provided to qualified U.S. Contractors
