Description
The University of Maryland, Baltimore is seeking bids for the modernization of four traction passenger elevators and one traction service elevator at the Health Sciences Facility I. The project includes the replacement of elevator cab interiors, elevator machine room, hoistways, elevator lobbies, pit, and related building work, including electrical, mechanical, and life safety upgrades. The work will be conducted in five phases, with only one elevator out of service at a time. The contractor will be required to coordinate with the university and other contractors to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process.
