Mounting Press

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking to procure a mounting press, specifically the TechPress 3X, along with various mold/heater assemblies and a recirculating coolant system. The solicitation is set aside for small businesses and is expected to be awarded on a sole-source basis to Allied High Tech Products. The required delivery date is ten weeks after receipt of the contract. The contractor must provide a detailed capabilities statement, price breakdown, and other documentation as part of their quote. • The mounting press must be able to prepare up to 2 mounts in less than 8 minutes. • The press must have a 7" color LCD touchscreen with keypad entry to control all functions. • The press must have a safety sensor to require full closure of the bayonet cap before cycle start. • The press must have two modes of operation: "manual input" or one-touch "programs" from a database of 80 preloaded, adjustable parameters. • The mold assemblies can be changed from 25 mm through 2", and include a duplexing spacer, allowing up to two mounts per cycle. • The press must have a compact, narrow footprint and be resistant to impact, corrosion, and heat.
