Description
The United States Air Force is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a Technical Software and Engineering Services Solution. The solution should provide software design/development, installation, support, training, maintenance, and technical support for Tinker Air Force Base. The contractor will be responsible for providing a software solution that meets the information needs of Air Traffic Controllers and airfield management personnel, both military and civilian. The solution should interface with various systems, including the USAF Sensor Collection Appliance, Federal Aviation Administration Information Display System, and FAA Automated Surface Observing System. The contractor should also provide telephone support, site configuration, and engineering services.
• The software solution should provide live USAF airfield weather data and establish a centralized repository of information for decision support tools and situational awareness.
• The solution should integrate information from multiple sources for display, distribution, and communication via a single system.
• The contractor should provide reconfiguration of software license files, original and replacement configuration disks, and software documentation as needed.
• The solution should include operations support, technical support, software engineering, commercial-off-the-shelf software licensing, system verification, and system testing.
