The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to design‑build a new scale house with inbound and outbound truck scales, complete demolition of existing structures, and execute extensive site‑improvement work at the municipal solid waste landfill. The scope includes full civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction, pavement installation, utility installation, erosion control, fencing, and final landscaping. The contract must achieve substantial completion by 31 Dec 2026 and final completion by 3 May 2027, with liquidated damages for delay.
