Notice of Intent Synopsis

The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Weapon Systems Support is seeking eligible contractors to provide effort, including labor, material, and facilities, to evaluate, repair, and/or modify the specified items. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but all responses received within 15 days after the date of publication will be considered by the Government. The required work includes repairing the listed NIINs, which are subject to the Free Trade Agreements Act and/or the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement. • The required work includes evaluating, repairing, and/or modifying the specified items. • The Government does not possess the necessary data to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item. • The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. • All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. • Approval of a source is required, and the time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
