Description
The Palm Beach County Department of Airports is seeking bids for the replacement of the existing Airport Rotating Beacon and Beacon Tower at the LNA airport, as well as the installation of new PAPI systems at both LNA and F45 airports. The work includes electrical demolition, new connections, modifications, and site improvements. The contractor will also be responsible for clearing the site, sodding, and stabilizing the access road for future maintenance access.
• The project involves the removal and replacement of the existing beacon tower at LNA.
• The installation of eight new 2-box current powered PAPI systems, six at LNA and two at F45.
• The removal of eight existing PAPI systems.
• The installation of two new airfield guidance signs at Lantana Airport.
• The project is subject to mandatory federal contract requirements, including compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act and the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act.
