MODIFIED WC-130J RTP APN-241 WEATHER RADAR SUSTAINING ENGINEERING SUPPORT RESEARCH AND SUPPORT TASK

The U.S. Air Force is conducting market research to identify firms capable of providing sustaining engineering support for the modified WC‑130J RTP APN‑241 weather radar. The effort includes reliability and maintainability studies, DMS mitigation, failure‑trend analysis, and on‑site engineering support during developmental testing. The contract is anticipated to be a 2‑year award (FY27‑FY29) with a six‑month extension option, likely awarded on a sole‑source basis to Northrop Grumman.
