Sources Sought - U.S. Mission Maseru, Lesotho

The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of providing comprehensive local guard services for the U.S. Embassy in Maseru, Lesotho. This is a non‑binding Sources Sought notice; responses will be used solely for planning and drafting a future performance work statement and contract requirements. Vendors must demonstrate experience with security guard contracts, licensing, labor and tax compliance, insurance, communications equipment, 24/7 staffing, language capabilities, and adherence to U.S. export controls (AECA/ITAR). Submissions are due by 14:00 EST on 2 Oct 2026 via email. • Provide security guard staffing (24 hr/7 day) for embassy personnel, facilities, and equipment. • Demonstrate compliance with Lesotho labor, tax, and licensing laws, and U.S. export regulations. • Supply and maintain communications (radio, CCTV, GEMS, CAMS) and guard equipment (uniforms, vehicles). • Offer training, language support, and rapid back‑fill capability for personnel turnover. • Manage government‑furnished property, invoicing, and use of the myLGP database. • Submit a completed Contractor Information Form and capability narrative by the deadline.
