Description
The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) is seeking proposals for innovative, commercial technologies that can enhance the mission effectiveness of military personnel and the supporting platforms, systems, components, or materials. The Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) is a competitive solicitation that will result in the award of prototype projects. Interested companies can submit solution briefs in response to Areas of Interest (AOIs) posted on the DIU website. The CSO process consists of three phases: Solution Brief, Pitch, and full written proposal.
Key aspects of the job and scope of work include:
• Developing and submitting solution briefs and proposals
• Participating in pitch sessions
• Collaborating with the Government to negotiate terms and conditions
• Executing prototype projects
• Providing technical and business viability information
• Addressing data rights assertions and intellectual property issues
• Meeting the requirements of the CSO and the AOIs
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
