Contract for Supplying Sulfuric Acid Re-bid (W2604L)

The Town of Jupiter is seeking a supplier to provide 98% sulfuric acid for use in the treatment of drinking water at the Town's Water Treatment Plant. The contract will be for a period of 495 days, beginning May 23, 2026, and ending September 30, 2027, with the option to renew the contract for up to two consecutive one-year terms. The contract will include semiannual price adjustments in accordance with the provisions of the contract. Key responsibilities of the supplier will include: • Providing 98% sulfuric acid that meets the specifications and requirements outlined in the bid/contract documents • Delivering the sulfuric acid to the Town's Water Treatment Plant in a timely and efficient manner • Ensuring that the sulfuric acid is handled and stored in a safe and responsible manner • Providing documentation and certification of the sulfuric acid's quality and purity • Participating in semiannual price adjustments and contract renewal negotiations as required.
