Description
The US Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to provide technical services for the calibration of main propulsion diesel engine governors onboard the USCGC Alder. The contractor will be responsible for calibrating both electronic and mechanical governors, ensuring safe operation, and training Coast Guard personnel. The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and tools to complete the tasks. The period of performance is 31 May – 15 June 2026, or 06-25 July 2026.
• The contractor will calibrate the governors according to manufacturer's procedures and standards.
• The contractor will ensure compliance with manufacturer's procedures and standards during calibration.
• The contractor will provide a final report within 3 days of contract period of performance completion.
• The contractor will train Coast Guard personnel on calibration procedures and setpoints.
