Description
The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait is seeking a qualified contractor to upgrade various restrooms and infrastructure within the Embassy compound to ensure compliance with the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The project includes the renovation of the Chancery Annex Restroom, Lactation Room, Men's Locker Room, Women's Locker Room, and Consular Restroom. The contractor will be responsible for providing skilled labor, necessary support equipment, and materials to complete the project. The project requires the installation of new flooring, walls, and plumbing fixtures, as well as the modification of existing structures to meet ABA/ADA standards.
• The contractor must prepare a detailed work plan, including preparatory/demolition/installation plans and an itemized work schedule.
• The contractor must provide complete product technical data sheets for all products/materials used in the project.
• The contractor must conduct periodic quality checks throughout the work to ensure compliance with the Statement of Work and all applicable ABA/ADA/ASTM/ASME standards.
• The contractor must maintain a clean and organized worksite, removing debris and trash daily.
• The contractor must ensure that all workers wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety precautions.
