Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking a qualified contractor to install approximately 2,300 sq ft of seamless vinyl flooring in the visitor area of the San Quentin Rehabilitation Center. The work includes all required submittals, site preparation, installation, inspection, and a one‑year warranty, and must be performed by a licensed C‑15 (or B with a subcontractor) flooring contractor under a 90‑day contract. The contract will be awarded on a lowest‑responsive‑bid basis with small‑business and DVBE preferences applied.
• Scope: supply & install seamless vinyl floor, provide certifications, complete site preparation, and meet strict safety, security, and VOC requirements.
• Schedule: IFB posted 4/23/2026, mandatory walk‑through 5/13/2026, bid due 5/18/2026, anticipated NTP 5/28/2026, contract term 90 days.
• Requirements: C‑15 flooring license, DIR public‑works registration, 100 % payment & performance bonds, insurance, and compliance with DVBE/Small‑business participation goals.
