Description
Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA) seeks a qualified vendor to supply a complete helium refrigeration system for the B902 Cryogenic System at Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, NY. The vendor must deliver a helium liquefier plant capable of 260 L/hr at 4.5 K, meet specified utility interfaces, and provide all associated documentation and inspection plans.
• Scope limited to the helium liquefier plant; downstream cryogenic equipment (valve boxes, buffer tanks, analyzers, etc.) is expressly excluded.
• Must comply with the Buy American Act, disclose place of manufacture, and operate with site utilities (480 VAC/3‑phase power, 200 GPM cooling water at 86 °F, 100 psig compressed air at –60 °C dew point).
• Delivery of equipment required within 18 weeks of award; pre‑shipment inspection and documentation due within 2 weeks; full installation and commissioning to be completed by 38 weeks.
• Pricing in U.S. dollars, firm for 120 days; freight terms FOB Destination (North America) and DDP (International).
• Small‑business subcontracting plan required if the contract value exceeds $900 k for non‑small firms.
