Description
The Tift County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the construction of the EB Hamilton Sports Complex Parking Lot Improvements Division B: Asphalt, et al. The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the proposed parking lot improvements. The project includes the placement of approximately 2,600 tons of asphalt paving and approximately 30,000 linear feet of 5" wide striping. The time allotted for completion of work is 30 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion, and 45 consecutive calendar days for contract close-out.
• The project requires pre-qualification of bidders prior to the award of contract.
• A Bid Bond or a certified cashier’s check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid is required.
• The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount.
• The project will be funded by a grant from the Local Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST).
