Description
The Town of Reading is seeking bids for the construction of outdoor community pickleball courts. The project includes clearing a vacant site, constructing six post-tension concrete pickleball courts, paved walkways, installation of subsurface drainage infrastructure, electrical infrastructure, accessibility improvements, and landscaping improvements. The project is located behind Burbank Ice Arena and adjacent to the future Center for Active Living.
• The bid security requires a bid bond, cash, certified check, treasurer’s or cashier’s check payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent of the bid.
• Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development apply to this project.
• The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M.
• The Town of Reading reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to award or not to award the contract for any reason the Town Manager determines to be in the Town's and/or the public's best interest.
