Description
The University of Francis Marion is seeking a qualified vendor to supply, deliver, install, and commission a brand‑new tensile‑testing system for its engineering laboratory. The contract includes a one‑year manufacturer warranty plus a ten‑year mechanical warranty, full software licenses for faculty and students, and all required accessories (grips, jaws, compression plates, control PC, etc.). Installation must be completed within one week of delivery, and the vendor must provide all labor, tools, and documentation without subcontracting. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• Load capacity ≥ 50 kN, accuracy ± 1 % and displacement resolution ≤ 0.02 mm.
• Integrated Windows 11 PC with Wi‑Fi, Ethernet, USB ports, and full analysis software (CSV, PDF export).
• Mandatory warranties: 1‑year standard plus 10‑year mechanical systems warranty.
