Description
The Habersham County School District is seeking quotes from qualified contractors for the construction of a 30-foot Band Tower at Habersham Central High School. The tower must feature ample walking space on each landing, handrails that exceed OSHA safety specifications, and a fully enclosed stair. The project also includes the installation of a roof, a lockable security gate, and multi-purpose handrails. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, and other services necessary for the completion of the project.
• The project requires a full turn-key installation, including shipping, foundation, and installation as needed.
• The contractor must have been in business for a minimum of 2 years and must not be an employee of the Habersham County School District.
• The contractor must provide a comprehensive criminal history background check for any employee working on school property.
• The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance with limits of $1,000,000 for bodily injury and $2,000,000 for property damage.
• The contractor must comply with O.C.G.A. § 13-10-91 and use the federal work authorization program (E-Verify).
