Hydrogen Purchase/Delivery to Amarillo, TX WFO

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Amarillo, TX is seeking a contractor to supply hydrogen gas in individual cylinders for use in weather balloon launches. The contract will be for a base year and four option years, with a total estimated aggregate value of $34,647.12. The contractor will be responsible for delivering up to 230 cylinders per performance period, with deliveries made every two weeks. The contractor must also provide a certified pressure gauge to verify the pressure of the cylinders. • The contractor must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. • The contractor must provide a statement demonstrating their capability to perform the required scope of work. • The contractor must provide unit pricing for the hydrogen gas, delivery costs, cylinder rental costs, and other fees. • The contractor must comply with all safety and security requirements, including providing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and following all rules concerning safety and security. • The contractor must invoice the government within 5-7 days of each delivery, with invoices submitted through the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) system.
