Description
The US Government Publishing Office is seeking a contractor to provide 30,000 letterheads with engraving, including 125 Departmental Random "Blue Label" Copies for each jacket. The letterheads must be printed on Crane's Lettra Letterpress ECRU White 23 x 35" - 32 lbs paper, with type matter in Pantone 288 (blue) and Seal in Gold Buzz Ink 8023. The contractor must submit quotes via the Quick Quote system, and late quotes will not be accepted. The contract includes requirements for quality assurance, packaging, and distribution, and the contractor must comply with GPO Contract Terms (GPO Pub. 310.2). Some key points to consider include:
• The contract requires the contractor to perform a basic check (preflight) of the furnished media and publishing files to assure correct output of the required reproduction image.
• The contractor must create or change any necessary trapping, set proper screen angles and screen frequency, and define file output selection for the imaging device being utilized.
• The contractor is responsible for picking up the furnished stock at the Government Publishing Office, Washington, DC 20401.
