Description
Dickinson State University is seeking bids for the lease of up to three 28-passenger buses with the option to purchase. The buses will be used for athletic and academic travel. The lease term is 36 months with an option to renew for an additional two years. Bidders must provide a detailed specification sheet for the buses, including information about the chassis, engine, and other features. The university also requires bidders to provide three references and to agree to a 30-day bid hold period.
• The buses must have a minimum capacity of 28 passengers
• The buses must have a rear jump seat or rear folding seat to allow for 1-2 wheelchairs
• The buses must have a V6 or V8 gasoline engine and a 40-gallon gas tank
• The buses must have heated mirrors with automatic controls and power steering
• The buses must have dual electric horns and a driver's side air bag
