Description
The Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the procurement of plant mixed asphalt product containing various percentages of 25mm RAP material. The agreement will include Department Force pickup of material, vendor delivery of asphalt, and vendor hauling of millings. The awarded vendor will also receive a total of approximately 1,500 tons of RAP millings delivered to the vendor’s plant nearest to the jobsite. The project is expected to last from August 1, 2026, to November 30, 2026.
• The project requires the procurement of 25mm RAP Mix 2026 for highway maintenance operations in Beaver County.
• The contract will be an Established Price Contract containing the Contract Terms and Conditions as shown in Part V of the IFB.
• Bidders must submit their bids through the Commonwealth's electronic system (SRM) prior to the bid opening time.
• The bid must be firm and include all required documentation and information.
• The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any bid that does not meet the requirements specified in the IFB.
