Description
The Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to provide Calcium Magnesium Acetate (CMA) solid deicer for use in winter operations on several bridge structures throughout the state of Michigan. The CMA Deicer is a non-corrosive alternative to corrosive road salt. The contractor must be a certified authorized distributor of CMA Deicer and provide documentation to support this requirement. The evaluation process will be based on a pass/fail basis, and the contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who offers the best value to the State.
• The contractor must provide a complete proposal, including all attachments and modifications, electronically through the SIGMA VSS system by the deadline.
• The contractor must accept the State's Contract Terms and Schedules as written, or propose changes with tracked changes and explanations.
• The contractor must provide pricing for the goods and services sought by the State.
• The contractor must participate in the evaluation process, including responding to requests for clarification or negotiation by the deadline set by the Solicitation Manager.
