Manhole Frames & Covers (WSA)

The City of Warwick, acting through the Warwick Sewer Authority, is requesting bids for the purchase of cast-iron manhole frames and covers. The frames and covers should be gray cast-iron, heavy-duty, and conform to the requirements of AASHTO M105 for H-20 design load ratings. The frames should be of the flanged type and machined to ensure a suitable non-rocking bearing surface for seating between the ring and cover. The covers should be furnished with a diamond pattern non-slip surface and the letters "SEWER" cast on the cover. • The bid will be based on a per unit cost. • The frames and covers should be manufactured in the United States of America, but alternative quality products will also be considered. • The successful bidder must adhere to all City, State, and Federal Laws, where applicable. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any minor deviations or informalities in the bids received, and to accept the bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the City.
