Intersection Safety Improvements - PID 118202

The City of Toledo is seeking bids for the Intersection Safety Improvements project, which aims to improve the intersection of State Route 51 (Monroe street) and Douglas road, as well as 0.1 miles of state route 120 (Cherry St.). The project involves removing the existing wearing course, resurfacing, constructing a concrete median, signal improvements, overhead sign relocation, and replacing walk and curb ramps. The successful bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide bonding, insurance, and indemnification. • The project is a prevailing wage project, and the successful bidder must submit certified payrolls to the City for all labor performed on the project. • The project includes the termination of State Route 120 access via North street with a turn around utilizing the existing Canton St., and the realignment of Canton street to State Route 120. • The City of Toledo reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. • The project is subject to the Buy America Act, and all steel or iron products incorporated into the work must be made of steel or iron produced in the United States.
