Description
This solicitation seeks qualified firms to provide geotechnical engineering services for the 60th Avenue East (Buffalo Road) Segment 2 and Segment 3, as well as the 69th Street East intersection improvements in Manatee County, Florida. The scope includes geotechnical investigations, subsurface utility engineering, design of roadway and lighting systems, and preparation of detailed construction specifications and special provisions. The award will be a qualification‑based contract, allowing the county to engage a firm for detailed engineering design, analysis, and construction support for the identified roadway improvements.
• Conduct subsurface investigations and provide geotechnical reports for Segments 2 & 3.
• Develop design specifications for roadway, lighting, signalization, and special provisions.
• Produce detailed construction drawings, cost estimates, and technical submittals for the intersection improvement project.
• Coordinate with county engineers and other consultants to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards.
• Deliver final engineering deliverables ready for construction bidding and implementation.
