Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking a contractor to repair and restore the undercarriage system of a Caterpillar D6K LGP dozer. The project includes replacing track rail assemblies and associated hardware, as well as inspecting and repairing related undercarriage components. The contractor must use Caterpillar OEM parts and ensure that all work meets Caterpillar OEM standards. The project must be completed within 30 calendar days from the notice to proceed.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Replacing track rail assemblies and associated hardware
• Inspecting and repairing undercarriage components
• Installing a new Program Monitor and ensuring it is fully installed, programmed, and calibrated
• Demonstrating proper operation of the monitor during final inspection
• Providing an itemized invoice including labor, parts, and any additional approved work
