Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is soliciting a sole source contract for the procurement of various aircraft components. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract for all listed National Stock Numbers (NSNs). The approved source is Unison, which has given sole exclusive distribution for the NSNs to AAR Supply Chain, Inc. The contract period will be for 8 years with 3 option years. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.
• The contract will be for the procurement of 4 NSNs: 012138292, 012140565, 013223771, and 015074285.
• The contract period will be for 8 years with 3 option years.
• The Government intends to use a letter solicitation format to the sole source Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
• Non-OEM sources are invited to respond to the synopsis, but must provide evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period.
