61--Breaker Parts-Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Department of Energy (DOE), Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), intends to acquire critical breaker parts for Siemens SP Type Breaker from Siemens Energy on a sole source basis. The required parts include an air compressor, control valve repair kit, 120V coil pilot valve, main valve, and pilot valve repair kit. Interested sources may submit a capability statement, which must include verification from Siemens Energy stating that Siemens Energy will allow the interested source to sell the products directly to the Government. The capability statement must be received by May 11, 2026, and shall include documentation on the interested source's ability to satisfy all the Government's requirements. • The required parts are specific to Siemens Energy and must be obtained directly from them. • The procurement will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12 Commercial Items and RFO Part 6.103-1. • Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. • Capability statements must be emailed to the Contracting Officer, Carol L.
