Bobby Richardson Sports Complex Renovation

The City of Sumter is seeking a Construction Manager-At-Risk (CM-R) for the renovation of the Bobby Richardson Sports Complex. The project includes the renovation of five synthetic turf baseball/softball fields, a two-story concessions and restroom building, and other improvements. The CM-R will provide preconstruction and construction management services, including schedule and constructability reviews, value engineering, and construction scheduling. The City is looking for a firm with experience in CM-R project delivery, a strong team with relevant experience, and a demonstrated ability to manage costs and schedules. • The project scope includes renovation of existing facilities and construction of new ones. • The CM-R will be responsible for managing the construction process, including holding all or a majority of subcontracts and supplier contracts. • The City is looking for a firm with experience in working with public agencies and a history of excellence in performance. • The project will be subject to all third-party inspections as required. • The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities or minor technical inconsistencies.
