Description
The Department of the Air Force (DAF) and United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) are soliciting interest for potential development, re-development, or lease of underutilized real estate located on USAFA. The goal is to achieve compatible development that meets the mutual needs of the DAF and nearby communities. The opportunities include non-excess underutilized land located at the eastern border of USAFA, approximately 500 acres, for potential use in installation support services such as operations, maintenance, security, medical, staffing, and research/collaboration.
Key points to consider:
• The DAF is considering making available for use opportunities for parcels of land located on the east side of Interstate 25 (I-25) under the authority of Title 10, United States Code.
• Respondents should be prepared to identify how these facilities would be utilized as part of an end-to-end concept of operations for mission activities at USAFA.
• The DAF will evaluate ownership and control options for the real estate and/or facilities prior to entering into any agreement.
• Proposals must comply with relevant policy, laws, and regulations, including environmental impact analysis.
