Description
The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to fully demolish a dangerous residential structure located at 1616 West Crawford Street and to perform associated site work, including debris removal, utility disconnection, back‑filling, grading, and final site clean‑up. The contract will be awarded on a sealed‑bid basis, with a 90‑day performance window from the notice‑to‑proceed. The contractor must provide bid security, performance and payment bonds, and carry comprehensive insurance. All work must comply with City specifications, local building codes, and environmental safety standards.
• Complete demolition of foundations, slabs, walls, utilities, and all ancillary structures; remove all debris to an approved landfill (max 8 loads/day).
• Perform utility verification and abandonment, cap sanitary sewers, and protect adjacent public right‑of‑way and neighboring properties.
• Execute site grading and back‑fill using approved material, compacted to ≥ 95 % dry density, and provide final clean‑up and a two‑year warranty.
