Fire Station 1 Kitchen Renovation

The City of Milpitas is seeking bids from qualified contractors to renovate the second-floor kitchen of Milpitas Fire Station No. 1. The renovation work includes removing existing cabinetry, countertops, and appliances and replacing them with custom-fabricated, commercial-grade stainless steel casework, integrated countertops, and backsplashes. The contractor must also install new plumbing fixtures and appliances and patch and repair disturbed surfaces. All work must be performed in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and City requirements. The project must be completed within 180 days of the contract begin date. • The contractor must have a Current and Valid Class B General Contractor License. • The contractor must provide a bid bond and payment and performance bonds. • The contractor must comply with prevailing wage and safety compliance under Cal/OSHA. • The contractor must coordinate work with Fire Station Operations for access and scheduling to minimize disruption to essential services.
