South 24th Street Trail Extension, Project #PR26-04

The City of Council Bluffs is requesting bids for the South 24th Street Trail Extension project. The project includes the construction of a trail extension, with major items of work such as PCC sidewalk with ADA ramps, pavement marking striping, removal of existing median nose, and installation of PVC pipe. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds, a certificate of insurance, and comply with minimum wage provisions. • The project requires the construction of approximately 1300 SY of PCC sidewalk with ADA ramps and 104 SF of detectable warning panels. • The project also includes the installation of 430 LF of pavement marking striping for cross-walks and 30 LF of PVC pipe. • The successful bidder will be required to complete the work on or before October 23, 2026. • The bid will be awarded based on the lump sum, and the City of Council Bluffs will accept electronic bid submittals only. • The successful bidder will be required to provide a certified check, bid bond, or certified share draft in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. • The City of Council Bluffs is an equal opportunity employer and encourages minority and women-owned businesses to participate in the bidding process.
