Sprague St. Recreation Center Renovation

The City of Winston-Salem is seeking bids for the renovation of the Sprague Street Recreation Center. The project includes demolition and renovation work, as well as the demo and replacement of an exterior brick retaining wall. The scopes of work include an aluminum storefront, casework, interior finishes, limited sitework, and Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical work. The M/WBE subcontracting goals for this project are 5% MBE and 6% WBE and must be met separately. • The project requires a mandatory pre-bid meeting to summarize the scope of work and explain the City's M/WBE goals and program. • Bidders must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. • 100% Performance & Payment Bonds will be required of the awarded contractor. • Technical questions concerning this bid should be submitted electronically to Catherine Knisley.
