Description
The City of Cincinnati is seeking a vendor to supply electric actuator systems, related parts, and accessories for the Greater Cincinnati Water Works. The contract is a term, firm‑price agreement for a 12‑month period with the possibility of two additional one‑year renewals. Bids must be submitted electronically via the City’s VSS portal, and the award will be made to the lowest‑and‑best bidder based on price, compliance, delivery time, and parts/service availability. The scope includes four actuator system types—high‑service discharge actuators for two water‑treatment sites, three modulating effluent filter valve actuators, and three general open/close discharge valve actuators—plus all necessary switches, timers, gearings, sensors, enclosures, and related hardware. The vendor must meet detailed electrical, mechanical, and control specifications, maintain required insurance, and comply with Small Business/MWBE participation and EEO reporting requirements.
• Supply four distinct electric actuator systems (quantities: 1, 1, 3, 3) with full accessory kits.
• Meet strict technical specs: IP68, multiple voltage options (130 V DC to 460 V AC), torque up to ~5,100 lb, assorted contact counts, and emergency‑shutdown capabilities.
• Deliver to GCWW (4747 Spring Grove Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45232) and include delivery charges in the bid price.
