Description
The City of Long Beach is seeking a contractor to provide corrosion control and cathodic protection solutions for its natural gas distribution system. The scope of work includes providing magnesium anodes, cathodic protection and tracer wires, pipe wrap systems, and associated cathodic protection services. The contract will be for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.
• The contractor must comply with applicable industry standards, including AMPP/NACE requirements and LBPUD specifications.
• The contractor must provide a detailed bid, including pricing and product information.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to equal employment opportunity and non-discrimination.
• The contractor must provide a drug-free workplace and comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to drug use.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonds as required by the City.
