PEDESTRIAN AND GUARDRAIL IMPROVEMENTS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS

The City of Chula Vista is seeking bids for the Pedestrian and Guardrail Improvements at Various Locations project. The project involves the construction of enhancements to existing pedestrian crossings. Bidders must be properly licensed contractors and subcontractors with active licenses in good standing. The City requires that all bids be submitted electronically through the vendor PlanetBids. The bid submission deadline is November 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. • The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity or informality in any bid to the extent permitted by law. • The successful bidder shall execute the Contract and return the same, together with the Contract bonds, to the City of Chula Vista within ten working days after the bidder has received the Contract for execution. • The City may reject a bid on the basis of a bidder, or any principal, officer, employee of such bidder, or other person or entity that has a proprietary interest in such bidder, having been disqualified, removed, or otherwise prevented from bidding on, or completing a federal, state, or local government project because of a violation of law or a safety regulation.
