Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5% for County Owned Tanks

The County of San Luis Obispo is seeking bids for the furnishing and delivery of sodium hypochlorite 12.5% to County-owned storage tanks. The selected vendor shall be responsible for supplying high-quality sodium hypochlorite that meets all applicable drinking water standards and regulatory requirements. The scope of work includes transportation, handling, and safe transfer of the chemical into County-owned tanks, ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and hazardous material regulations. • The vendor must coordinate delivery schedules with County staff to maintain adequate inventory levels and avoid service interruptions. • Deliveries must be made Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, excluding holidays. • The truck must be able to pump 140 feet and have one single hose. • All products must be NSF approved for drinking water. • The contract term is from the date of award through June 30, 2027, with the option to extend for an additional four 1-year terms.
