Description
The City of Grand Junction is seeking a qualified supplier to provide liquid Aluminum Chlorohydrate (ACH) for use as a primary coagulant at its Water Treatment Plant. The contract is a one‑year initial term with the option to extend up to three additional one‑year periods, and the supplier must deliver the chemical FOB Destination, including all off‑loading equipment and documentation. Deliveries are required Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–2 p.m., with 24‑48 hour advance notice and a two‑week lead time after notification. The supplier must meet strict quality standards (AWWA B408, NSF/ANSI 61) and provide lot‑specific certificates of analysis, wash tickets, and other required paperwork for each shipment.
• Supply liquid ACH meeting AWWA B408, NSF/ANSI C61, and heavy‑metal limits.
• Deliver in bulk tank trucks or totes, pump into City storage tanks, and provide all hoses, pumps, and wash tickets.
• Provide a per‑gallon all‑inclusive price; no additional fees or taxes may be added.
• Sample submission required by 23 Oct 2026; pricing submission by 10 Nov 2026.
