Description
The Montebello Unified School District is seeking a qualified laboratory to perform materials testing for the new Bell Gardens High School Aquatic Center. The scope includes testing of concrete, masonry, steel, and related construction materials in accordance with the testing and inspections sheet attached to the project drawings, and submission of verified reports to the Division of the State Architect (DSA). This is a non‑blind, standard bid solicitation with a submission deadline of March 16, 2026.
• Perform laboratory testing of concrete mix, strength, air content, and temperature per DSA requirements.
• Conduct testing of masonry units, mortar, and any post‑installed anchors required for the aquatic facility.
• Provide required verified reports (DSA 291/292/293) and coordinate with the school district’s facilities department.
• Ensure all testing complies with the 2022 California Building Code and the project’s specific inspection checklist.
